Alyssa Locke, Fashion Show Co-Creator, Producer & Director

Alyssa has been a Hairdresser for 27 years. About 11 years ago she had the opportunity to create and direct her first fashion show for charity and loved having another creative outlet. When she and Kim began working together it was a no-brainer that they could combine their talents to produce a show unlike any other. The charity was also obvious. Helping to raise money for MS locally. The show is her brain-child, with combined inspiration from movies, characters, trends and fantasy. Hairstyles that are never seen in a salon setting, breaking the barriers of what you expect to see at a fashion show. Avant Garde styles always conclude the 10+ category show with surprising creative concepts. Alyssa's love of style, fashion and make up inspire her to produce a fun and exciting experience for all who attend.

Kim VanOeffelen, Fashion Show Creator

Ten years ago, former salon owner and current Multiple Sclerosis patient at Mercy Health Hauenstein Neurosciences, Kim VanOeffelen, created a high-fashion show to raise awareness and funds for Multiple Sclerosis, commonly known as MS.

Kim hopes to inspire and encourage others who are facing this disease by incorporating elements of fun and entertainment while giving back. Diagnosed seven years ago, the mother of three chose the Mercy Health Hauenstein Neurosciences as the beneficiary, stating: "Mercy Health Saint Mary's is where I found my home. The physicians and team are my family, supporting through my journey - not just managing my disease, but really working with me for the best outcomes."
